Peloton Philosophy
In a road bicycle race, the Peloton is the main group or pack of riders. Riders in a group save energy by riding close (drafting or slipstreaming) to other riders. The reduction in drag is dramatic, riding in the middle of a well-developed group, drag can be reduced to as little as 5%-10%. The exploitation of this potential energy saving leads to very complex and coordinated interactions between riders and teams.
The Peloton Alliance embraces this philosophy by forming coordinated teams between our public sector SAP customers and our best of breed consulting partners in the alliance
Peloton History
Peloton is an SAP consulting services firm based out of Houston, Texas that specializes and is known for successfully serving many Public Sector Government organizations across the County. It was found in 2003 as Vantage Point Consulting Group (VPCG), in 2013, VPCG was rebranded as The Peloton Alliance (Peloton). Providing SAP services to the Public Sector has been the sole focus of our company, and Peloton has developed an extensive public sector customer list.
Partners manage Peloton with industry-leading experience, and the average years of experience for our key personnel are over twenty (20) years, and the minimum years of experience are fifteen (15) years of experience.
Peloton has successfully delivered several SAP implementation projects and manages several AMS support contracts for our Public Sector customers.

Richard Beggs
Managing Partner
Rich brings over 26 years of experience delivering and selling services to the public sector. Rich has a wide range of business and technical relationships nationally, resulting in win-win business for his clients, companies and their partners. Rich’s clients have won 15 national awards over the past 4 years based on results they have achieved with their consulting engagements. Before joining The Peloton Group, Rich was the Vice-President of Sales for SAP’s State & Local Government and Education practice within the United States where he doubled the business with over $275 million in awarded work from 2010-2012. Prior to SAP, Rich was a Partner/Senior Executive with Accenture in their Government consulting practice. For his volunteer activities, Rich currently serves on the advisory board of Any Baby Can, which serves families with children facing serious health or developmental challenges.
Wade Hunter
Managing Partner
Wade is a CPA, PMP and SAP Certified Public Services Integrator with more than 25 years of SAP implementation experience in both the public and private sectors, having served in leadership positions on some of the largest, most-complex SAP implementations to date. Wade’s business experience includes founding and managing an SAP consulting firm, holding the position of Senior Consulting Manager at Accenture, and also serving in the positions of Controller and Business Reengineering Manager at large corporations. Wade has successfully managed and delivered several large SAP implementation projects and continues to advise customers on best business and systems practices. When not busy with local service activities and Junior Achievement programs, Wade enjoys spending free time working on improving his golf handicap and mountain biking
Raj Gutha
Partner
Raj Gutha leads Peloton’s development team and has successfully served in development leadership for over 12 years on a number of public sector customers across the United States. Raj also brings hands-on development capability and has extensive experience supporting worflow, report, interface, conversion, enhancement and forms for 5 State/Local government customers. Raj also brings additional industry expertise in Consumer Products, Manufacturing and Utilities. Specific technical skills include SAP ECC-ABAP/4 with an emphasis on Finance and Human Resources areas. He has worked on BDC programs, SAP SCRIPT, USER- EXIT SAP ENHANCEMENTS, INTERACTIVE REPORTS, TRANSACTIONS, BAPI’s, BADI’s, LSMW, ALE & IDOC’S, WEBDYNPRO ABAP, ADOBE FORMS, FPM FORMS, Workflow, APO, and UI5/Fiori.
